HEY HON
OH,
I was born with a camera in my hand and an unhealthy pride in my state flag and sports teams...not really (well one of them isn't true), but it felt that way. I got my first camera on Christmas day when I was 10 and took candid photos of my family that Christmas. I fell in love. I have gone from not knowing what my picture would look like and finding old undeveloped film, to being able to create works of art in much less time.

From an academic standpoint, I have a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in investigative forensics. Though I love my degree field, I found my purpose and meaning in photographing moments that bring joy and peace to those I photograph.

From a personal standpoint, I have participated in the American Association of Suicide Prevention walk in Ocean City, MD, Havre de Grace, MD and Virginia Beach, VA each year since my brother's loss in 2014. I use those moments as a reminder to encourage those around me to live in the moment, and the best part is...I am able to capture those moments that stay frozen forever.
